Mondeo mk4.5 2.0 tdci ecu replace questions. Quick one on a facelift mk4 2.0 tdci 140hp I am about to replace the PCM. Tried getting cheap and removed the DPF, so I tried "remapping" it with DPF removed. Long story short, kess v2 clone fried the PCM.

Did 2 * 30 min runs now (mostly 70-80 mph) DPF_DP Varied between 0 and 9kPa (between 800 and 2500rpm) DPF_SOOT Varieds between 19% and 25% - depending on distance travelled. DPF_LOAD 0% constantly no change. Had a friend do an emission test on the Mondeo (2014) MK 4.5 and it would have failed. Reading came in at 0.8 when max is 0.5.

The garage advised that the light came on because of the DPF. They recycled the DPF and reset the light. The light stayed off for a few days but came back on today. From reading the threads on here, if there was a problem with the DPF, wouldn't I get a DPF warning message? I haven't seen any messages and the car is driving fine.

Hi seen a lot on the forum about the DPF pipes that go to the pressure sensor, the general thinking is they are made of rubber, not so, they are made of a high grade silicon compound by a company called DU Pont, initially made to carry gas to burners under the hobs of industrial cooking ranges they

I've tested the cam and crank sensor today, which seemed fine. A summary of what I've done: Fuel feed line filter>pump, not blocked. Fuel return line pump>filter, not blocked. Fuel filter is primed and is not blocked. New was installed. Timing ok, no skipped teeth on belt, belt ok. AbingDan Discussion starter · Jun 8, 2021. Hi, so I am looking at my first Ford, and first diesel. I have a £2-3k budget. Looking at probably a 2 or 2.2 tcdi. There seems to be much talk of dpf in general, and I can kinda follow that 'urban driving' leads to more soot and therefore dpf comes into their own. I understand they are important etc. wByE.
