The 890 is the same as the 790, except the suspension has straight-rate springs, vs progressive ones. And of course, more expensive, AND most of the good stuff standard on the 790, is optional on 890s, including the R. The current SX/XC handlebars (7900200100030) are the best match and have a set on order, which should arrive in the next day or two.
